zootoo.com goes live!
Founded in 2007 in response to the massive pet food recall, zootoo.com is the first community generated Web site devoted to all pet owners. After a beta launch, the zootoo executive team gathered requirements for a rapid site re-design that included an enhanced user experience with new functionality to meet user demand. They needed a flexible agency that was capable of creating a functional and unique expression of the zootoo brand in a very tight timeframe.
Approach
DOOR3 brought strategic design and implementation resources to work with zootoo to come up with a design system that would embody the Web site’s mission and prove usable to a targeted demographic. We worked with senior technology and marketing resources to specify features, design page templates, and develop the Web 2.0 presentation layer that was eventually integrated into their backend systems. Our team went onsite with zootoo at their headquarters, working seamlessly with the zootoo executive, marketing and information technology teams to shorten review turn around and provide rapid, on-the-ground assessments for new features.
Results
“We were able to meet our deadline with more features that initially anticipated. The DOOR3 team was instrumental in supporting our internal technology and marketing teams throughout our aggressive delivery schedule. They stayed with us until the job got done and delivered a complete design system for our new Web site. We look forward to working with them as we expand and grow zootoo to become the number one opinion-sharing web site for pet lovers everywhere.” Marcello De Luca, CEO, Zootoo.

Introducing DOOR3
DOOR3 provides interactive brand and marketing, business strategy, and in-depth business application development and enterprise architecture services.
For example, we helped transform an isolated IT software department in a leading medical data analytics company into an integrated, efficient, business-driven corporate function by providing integrated SDLC training (iSDLC), business analysis, and spearheading the formation of the Program Management Office to drive projects in a way that kept IT and business fully integrated.
We increased business agility and improved internal operational consistency for another client by unifying their disparate systems and databases into a more robust, and sustainable architecture and developing an online billing application that integrated several databases, and provided that client with a unified, auditable view of their receipts and broker payments.
We documented another client's business-critical eCommerce storefront and spearheaded business analysis for their strategic marketing-driven IT projects. And we continue to deliver unique interactive brand and marketing services to leading B2B companies.
Since our founding, we have worked with a number of leading companies in Financial Services, Online Retail Services, Mortgage Banking and Media & Entertainment, providing critical business consulting services.
